Why Choose Us?

About Seven Arrows Recovery

Seven Arrows Recovery is a Tuscon inpatient addiction treatment center. Our structured inpatient treatment program was designed to treat an array of individuals, including those in recovery for the first time and those who experience chronic relapse. Every client at Seven Arrows Recovery gets an individualized treatment plan that aligns with their personal history, life goals, and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Inpatient treatment is valuable because it is an immersive experience that allows you to distance yourself from triggers in everyday life as you heal and build a new set of skills to cope with or navigate them. Our compassionate team of physicians, clinicians, and addiction specialists use a multidisciplinary approach to address addiction and co-occurring disorders or concerns.

The length of your treatment stay will vary based on your needs, but many people attend care for around 45 days. Before you leave Seven Arrows Recovery, we will help you create an aftercare plan that sets you up for success post-treatment. For those who have finished treatment, Seven Arrows Recovery offers alumni support.

What to Expect at a Albuquerque Addiction Treatment Center

Therapies and treatments we use include but aren’t limited to the following.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

Many people with substance use disorders have also survived trauma. The staff at Seven Arrows Recovery are informed on the nervous system and the effects that substance abuse, trauma, and other life experiences can have on it, as well as how trauma can impact both the body and mind. Our staff members have expertise in various therapeutic modalities used for trauma.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a non-invasive and highly efficacious form of therapy that can be used for an extensive range of concerns. Among other benefits, CBT can help you learn coping skills, identify emotions, reframe maladaptive thoughts, and navigate impulses.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) teaches mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and other skills. DBT can help you improve your relationships, increase internal feelings of well-being, and better navigate distress, conflict, and triggers.

EMDR Therapy

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment initially designed to address trauma. EMDR moves in stages and uses bilateral stimulation to reduce the vividness of an emotional reaction to traumatic memories, address negative self-beliefs, or work through other applicable concerns. EMDR is now used for addiction and other concerns, as well as trauma.

Brain-spotting

Brainspotting (BSP) is a form of therapy that works to uncover unprocessed trauma through fixed eye positions. In a brain spotting session, a therapist will use a pointer and ask you to recall past events that provoked anxiety or stress, which resulted in substance use. You will then work on processing and releasing negative traumatic memories by finding the eye position or brain spot where you felt the strongest emotions.

Person-Centered Therapy

Person-centered therapy is an approach to talk therapy that aims to increase self-acceptance and self-esteem while minimizing negative feelings or thoughts about oneself. You’ll learn how to preserve a positive regard for yourself, which can help you move through the world in recovery and get into a productive mental state for your well-being.

Holistic Treatment & Therapies

At Seven Arrows Recovery, we offer a range of holistic treatments. These include but aren’t limited to mindfulness, meditation, trauma-informed yoga, sweat lodge ceremonies, and massage.

Equine-Assisted Learning

Equine-assisted treatment for addiction involves caring for, interacting with, and riding horses. During the process, you’ll be overseen by qualified riding instructors. Many people enjoy the benefits of nature and increased physical activity provided by equine-assisted treatment.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing (MI) is a common evidence-based form of talk therapy most often used to address addiction and other concerns, such as eating disorders or non-adherence to medication. It is highly beneficial for those who feel unmotivated or unprepared for change.

Recreational & Experiential Therapies

Recreation can be a restorative and life-changing part of treatment. We offer a range of recreation activities and amenities, including but not limited to music, indoor and outdoor fitness options, and gardening.

Life Skills Training

A successful rehab program should make you feel prepared to confidently re-enter everyday life. We offer life skills training that will set you up for success in daily life post-treatment.

Aftercare

Aftercare helps you set yourself up for continued recovery and success post-treatment. Seven Arrows Recovery Center offers 12-step programs and ongoing family care for clients who have completed treatment. Additionally, all clients build a personalized aftercare plan as they prepare to graduate from their program.
