Meet our dedicated Addictions Counseling Intern, JoAnna O’Bryan
JoAnna O’Bryan is a highly qualified Addictions Counseling Intern with a comprehensive academic foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, specializing in Family Studies, from the University of Arizona, and two graduate degrees from Grand Canyon University: a Master of Science in Addictions Counseling and a Master of Divinity. Her clinical training emphasizes the intricate relationship between spiritual and family systems dynamics in addiction. Mrs. O’Bryan employs holistic therapeutic approaches, addressing the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical dimensions of clients, to facilitate recovery and healing from trauma and addictive behaviors.
Complementing her clinical work, Mrs. O’Bryan serves in the United States Army Reserves, where she provides spiritual counseling to soldiers and their families, addressing challenges related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), addiction, and intrafamilial issues.
