About
Get to know Lindsay.
My professional path has been deeply shaped by formative trainings and mentorships, including the life’s work of Dr. J. Eric Gentry, PhD and the Forward-Facing Freedom™ model, as well as the mentorship and clinical guidance of Dr. Robert Rhoton through Arizona Trauma Institute. I am also strongly influenced by Deb Dana’s Polyvagal-informed practices, and the wisdom of Trauma Conscious Yoga Method™ created by Nityda Gessel. Clinical trainings that have deeply impacted my work include advanced trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems therapy. The study of holistic nutrition has also deeply impacted my personal journal and my work with others. Personal experiences including travel to Belize and Bali, healing retreats, and spiritual experiences have been profound in cultivating my approach to working with others. As Clinical Director, I oversee the clinical vision, quality of care, and regulatory integrity of the treatment program. I also provide clinical leadership, supervision, and program development. My work is rooted in trauma-conscious, Salutogenic practice, with a deep commitment to cultivating a culture of safety, resilience, and healing for both clients and staff. What I find most meaningful is witnessing the courage and resilience of those I serve and supporting the restoration of hope during life’s most vulnerable moments.

Favorite Quote
We are coming to understand health not as the absence of disease, but rather as the process by which individuals maintain their sense of coherence… and ability to function in the face of changes in themselves and their relationships with the environment. -Aaron Antonovsky
Why I Love Seven Arrows
I was drawn to Seven Arrows Recovery because of the depth of heart and integrity within its leadership, the profound healing presence of the land, and the program’s spiritual foundation rooted in ceremony and connection. I was inspired by the opportunity to help create and implement a truly Salutogenic, trauma-informed approach while contributing to the development of a high-end clinical program.
