Program Overview
Our residential inpatient program provides the time and space necessary for deep, lasting change. With stays ranging from 30 to 90 days, your treatment plan is individualized to address the unique factors driving your addiction. You live on-site at our boutique facility, surrounded by the quiet beauty of southern Arizona, with a dedicated clinical team guiding you every step of the way.
Unlike large-scale treatment centers, Seven Arrows maintains a deliberately small census and a 1:1 primary-clinician model, which keeps care genuinely personalized. Every therapist, counselor, and support staff member knows your name, your story, and your goals.

“On-site means the help you need is already here.”
A day at the ranch
Most residential-treatment pages tell you what they offer. We’d rather show you what your Tuesday will look like.

6:45 am
Quiet start on the porch

6:45 am
Coffee in hand, sunrise over the Swisshelms. No programming yet. The day begins by actually arriving in it.

7:30 am
Invitational yoga, breathwork, or a walking meditation in the arena. Twenty minutes of nervous-system tuning before the clinical work begins.

8:30 am
Shared meal on-site. Protein, real food, actual nourishment — often the first meal in a long time that gets full attention.

9:15 am
Individual therapy with your primary — EMDR, ART, IFS, or Forward-Facing Freedom® as clinically indicated. The hour that anchors the day.

11:00 am
Small-group process work. Six clients, one facilitator, a room that has become unusually honest over the past week.

12:30 pm
A walk, journaling, a nap, a conversation. Integration time is programmed, not an afterthought.

2:00 pm
An hour in the arena with the horses. Nervous-system feedback from a 1,200-pound animal that responds to what your body is actually doing, without judgment.

4:00 pm
Hike, strength work, sound-bath session, or sweat-lodge ceremony depending on the day and the client. Body-level medicine.

6:30 pm
Shared meal, then evening circle — the day gets named, hard moments get witnessed, wins get marked. Lights-out comes from a settled nervous system, not exhaustion.

Around-the-Clock Care
Recovery does not follow a schedule. Cravings, anxiety, and emotional breakthroughs arrive when they arrive — often in the small hours. That is why our residential team is present around the clock, with a licensed clinician always on call and on-site coverage every shift.
Whether it is a late-night check-in or a 5 AM moment of clarity, someone who knows your name is here for you. That is what genuine residential care means.
Residential, in Their Words
“Life changing. Completely and totally changed my entire life. I came to 7 Arrows with little will to live, overwhelmed with my past trauma and my addictions ruining me. These people and this place infiltrated my heart and soul.

“Seven Arrows is a very special place to rest and recover. The remote setting is peaceful, with desert and mountain views on a large property. Incorporating equine therapy as well as native American traditions, the experience is a departure from what one might expect in an urban…

“I called 24 other facilities in the United States, but this one called to me, spiritually the most. I am a dual diagnosis. The moment I got the call back that I was admitted and arrival date, I had little idea of what was going to happen next.
