Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a non-invasive and highly effective form of therapy that can be used for a wide variety of mental or behavioral health concerns. Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) teaches mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and other skills. You will practice grounding exercises and other activities in DBT. DBT can help you improve interpersonal relationships, increase internal feelings of well-being, and better navigate distress, conflict, and triggers.

They then work on processing and releasing negative traumatic memories by finding the eye position or brain spot where the client endured the strongest emotional response.

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment that was initially created to address trauma.
